AX 3003L-3 and AX-3005L-3 Laboratory Power Supply Units

The power supply units have 3 output channels:

  • two outputs with adjustable voltage from the 0..30V range.
  • one independent output with fixed, highly stable, low noise voltage (5V).

This last property is especially important in laboratory circuits and applications based on:

  • operational amplifier circuits,
  • A/C and C/A converters (reference voltage stability),
  • sensor polarization circuits (accuracy of the characteristics in non-electric parameter conversion to voltage) w/ microcontrollers (power supply for microcontroller and microcontroller circuits),

CHARACTERISTICS

Two sections can work in the constant voltage or constant current mode. The sections can be connected in parallel or in series, and it’s also possible for several power supply units to work simultaneously. Each section has its own separated, independent power circuit. The AX 3003L-3 model offers section current adjustment from 0 to 3A, whereas in the AX-3005L-3 model it’s 0 to 5A. Four LED displays allow for convenient voltage and current setting for each channel. The device is equipped with a short circuit protection that controls transistor loss in order to safeguard the power supply unit against damages.

Another advantage of these laboratory units is their new cooling system based on a thermally regulated fan. The regulation network drives the fan in a smart way, adjusting its RPM to the set parameters and their accuracy .

The parameter stabilization level is high: current and voltage stabilization with low ripple and noise of ≤1mV rms (for adjusted voltage). Cooling regulation control ensures very quiet device operation thanks to seamless regulation and turning the cooling on mostly during the times when the device is delivering high power.
